With world-class renewable resources such as abundant sunshine and wind, MENA possesses all the essential ingredients to become a global green hydrogen leader. However, Jan stresses that unlocking this potential requires governments to implement clear regulations, enforce binding targets, and prioritize the development of local industry.
Rather than relying solely on export ambitions, Jan argues the region must build internal markets that foster real, sustainable growth beyond the current hype surrounding hydrogen.
